BRIDAL AND EVENT RENTAL POLICIES:
To ensure the best possible service we ask that you contact us by phone or email regarding bridal and/ or special event rental policies.
PRODUCTION RENTAL POLICIES:
We rent full character ensembles on a weekly basis. A one-week rental period is seven calendar days. For example, if you rent on Tuesday you will return on the following Tuesday. We also offer a discounted 3-day rental at 50% off of the regular weekly rental rate. A $500 minimum applies to the 3-day rental.
Rental prices are 10% of our valuation of an item per week. Victorian and Edwardian Era pieces rent for 20% of our valuation of the item per week and may (at the discretion of AH management) require an additional refundable $20.00 replacement fee added to the deposit. For example, an item valued at $100 usually rents $10 (or $20 if Victorian or Edwardian) for the week. Our valuation is not negotiable.

To rent clothing, accessories and other prop items from Apple's Haberdashery (hereafter, AH), we require the following:
A certificate of insurance fully covering the rental (liability, auto & property) AND a deposit processed online, that is equal to either the insurance deductible on the AH portion of the certificate of insurance OR a deposit check for the full replacement value of the goods being rented. Items from the Victorian and Edwardian Era may require additional procedures.
The insurance binder must be valid for at least two weeks beyond the length of the rental. We will call the agency to confirm that Apple's Haberdashery is covered.
Payments made online and are verified instnatly by our merchant services company.
Deposits are refunded in their entirety unless items are lost, returned late, returned damaged or returned with modifications other than normal wear (as determined by the management of AH).
If the cost of the losses and/or damages are less than the dollar amount of the deposit payment, then your production/project/ event will be billed and those charges will be deducted from the deposit and the remaining balance will be returned to the lessee. If damage and late charges equal or exceed the amount of the deposit, the deposit will not be returned and additional expenses will be billed to the production/ project/ event. Additional charges must be paid within 14 calendar days of billing. Returns postmarked or hand delivered after 5 pm on the scheduled return date will incur additional rental charges, which will be immediately billed.
All AH rentals are shipped in secure packaging to resist impact and damage. For the lessees convenience, Apple's Haberdashery rentals are shipped with return packaging materials and shipping labels.
We ship worldwide, via U S Postal Service Priority/ Express, FedEx or UPS Shipping. Shipping fess are billed at the time of the rental along with deposit and rental rates.
Exceptions to the above policies can only be granted in writing by the management of Apple's Haberdashery.
Certificate of Insurance Coverage Worksheet
The following areas of coverage must be evidenced on each Certificate of Insurance and, in some sections, must include specific statements.
We require(by specific section of Insurance Type):
• GENERAL LIABILITY: At a minimum we must have proof of coverage in boxes marked Commercial General Liability and Occurance. Specification of Apple's Haberdashery as Additional Insured/Loss Payee. Any additional coverage is appreciated.
• OTHER: This section may include other statements, but somewhere within it must contain the specification Props, Sets & Wardrobe with deductibles stated.
• DESCRIPTION OF OPERATIONS/LOCATIONS/VEHICLES/SPECIAL TERMS: This section may include other statements, but somewhere within it must contain the specification of Apple's Haberdashery Additional Insured/Loss Payee.
